We are now looking for a Team Manager with expertise in agile development
We can now present a great opportunity as Team Manager within the Product Development department at Extenda Retail. In the role as Team manager you will lead two agile development teams responsible for product areas that will largely decide Extenda Retail’s future: Self-service, Mobile, Payment options and other add-on services.
The teams are distributed across five locations in three countries and one of your main objectives will be to create engagement and build a close-knit team in that sometimes challenging setting. You facilitate team and personal growth and your day-to-day will largely be spent solving the big problems highlighted by the team in their retrospectives. Most of all though it is your job to make sure the teams have what they need to succeed - today and in the future.
Responsibilities as Team Manager
Ensure the teams have what they need to succeed: The needed knowledge, the right mix and number of talented people and and the right set of tools
Help the teams solve the big challenges that they can’t solve alone
Drive strategic improvement projects as a member of the POS Solutions leadership team
Grow the people in the team and support them in their professional and personal development
Make sure that the team understands how their contributions and hard work fits in the bigger picture of a company strategy

Skills and Experience
Has several years of professional experience working with development teams in agile environments
Has a very strong understanding of the principles of agile and lean software development
Well grounded in technology with a solid understanding of what it takes to build high quality software
Experience in successfully leading teams across multiple geographical locations
Has worked as a developer or tester before venturing into leadership
Experience in recruiting developers or other technical roles
