Job description

In the position as Product Owner you will function as the link between client business requirements and the technical solution of our products. You will be part of a talented cross functional team working with business-critical products for a big international client. The role will require working cross functionally and collaboratively with our development teams in coordinating activities in complex and challenging client projects from inception to delivery.

You will be in close interaction with different departments at Extenda Retail leading discussions on product implementation and deliver solutions with high quality and speed. You will function as a link between the development teams to deliverance with focus on synchronizing our standard product to client customization. You can take a holistic view of the solution delivery but also dive into technical details and establish credibility with clients, stakeholders and our technical teams.

As a Product owner you will be involved in discussions about the solutions with architects and business analysts to write and prioritize requirements in the product backlog. At Extenda Retail we run a Scrum development process and you will work in close collaboration with the Scrum master to serve a key role being responsible to improve and drive the solution forward.

Responsibilities

  • To refine requirements from customer into detailed technical tasks
  • Responsible for the overall solution
  • Manage and prioritize the Team Backlog in collaboration with peer Product Owners and Release/Project Managers
  • Ensuring that the team understands the Team Backlog to the level needed including business impact
  • Act as connector, bringing teams and stakeholders together into direct conversation
  • Sprint plan and review
  • Sprint risk assessment including mitigation planning and reporting to stakeholders
  • Synchronize client requirement to standard product
  • Manage communication of solution between release managers, business analysts, project managers and development teams.
  • Lead delivery of solution with quality and speed

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Business process understanding
  • Demonstrate a variety of leadership; technical and social
  • Structured with great ability to prioritize tasks
  • Agile methodologies
  • Software development
  • Basic knowledge in testing
  • Requirement gathering

Location

For this position we provide you with the opportunity to choose your preferred location between our Stockholm office (HQ) and our office in Gothenburg.
