As a Solution Consulting Manager you will act as subject matter expert on our products. You coach and provide know-how transfer to the pre-sales team, to deliver best in class demos, solution designs and winning bids. As an enabler, together with the team, you set up and manage a global demo environment/infrastructure to ensure “best practice“ capturing and re-use. 

Your mission is to act as liaison between product, sales and marketing teams to support the creation of standardized and re-usable customer centric demos and use cases. You will also establish and execute a plan to systematically improve the efficiency, effectiveness and quality of the delivered pre-sales activities and processes . You work closely with sales in defining deal strategies, answering RFPs, creating effective customer presentations and, in essence, successful bids.

Responsible for

  • Support the sales organization with product and technical expertise in deals
  • Support Marketing in the launch of new initiatives, campaigns and education with industry and product input  
  • Accountable for for all aspects around the creation of a harmonized pre-sales infrastructure and pre-sales delivery
  • Set-up, enable and orchestrate the pre-sales community within Extenda Retail
  • Manage trainings and competency development within pre-sales
  • Function as technical advisory and expert on our solutions and products capabilities with focus on commercial purpose

Skills and requirements

  • Minimum 5-7 years pre-sales experience + pre-sales management experience.
  • University degree (BS/BA)
  • Ability to manage, influence and coach team members and enable them to become successful on their own. 
  • Structured and analytical with the ability to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities?
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to both business and technical audiences.
  • Exceptional track record of delivering and managing successful pre-sales activities in the context of Retail applications. 
  • Track record of creating winning solution demos and demo scripts, that demonstrate the business impact of a solution rather than features/functions.
  • Proven project-/program-management skills and the ability to successfully drive global/multi-country initiatives. 
  • Track record in designing and delivering winning solution proposals to larger accounts.
  • Fluent English oral and written skills
