What We Do In Finance
The Finance team works with accounting, controlling and payroll. Within Extenda Retail we work across country borders and with all functions. We are ultimately responsible for facilitating budgeting, forecasting and ongoing accounting for the group. In addition, we make sure we bill our clients and collect the money in accordance with the agreed terms. We pay our suppliers and our employees timely. We also present to the Board and to all Extenda Retail how we are trending when it comes to revenue growth and cost control.
How We Do It
The Finance team works closely with our owners, the board and with all managers. Therefore we interact with most teams at Extenda Retail. We help teams and groups to set internal processes to make their daily job easier and also to be able to follow their revenue and result contributions. Moreover, Extenda Retail is a listed company at the Oslo Exchange, which affects how we work since we have to meet high demands on the quality and transparency as well as to follow rules and standards. We follow an international standard, called IFRS. Extenda Retail is owned by STG Partners, a well-established private-equity firm based in California, U.S. To work at a private equity company means working in a changing environment where we get the possibility to do a lot more, such as releasing new, innovative products, in a shorter period of time. This is challenging and demanding but most of all, it is exciting since it gives us the opportunity to develop and tackle complex scenarios head-on.
This Makes Us Excited
Working at Extenda Retail in our Finance team, is a fun, challenging and rewarding experience that will help you thrive in your career. This creates excitement within the team, as we further develop and continue to grow. We also have a good atmosphere within the team where we help and support each other.
