We are looking for… a true go-getter and fast executor to join our progressive, product-first software company as a Sales Executive, primarily focused on the Benelux region. You will play a crucial role in our continued expansion, establishing Extenda Retail as a strategic vendor for our cloud-native POS solution, Hii Retail. We've already achieved market leadership in the Nordics and successfully entered the Benelux market – now we're accelerating our growth within the region and aiming towards the DACH region. In the role you will… be responsible for driving new business acquisition within the Benelux and DACH retail market, for our Hii Retail POS solution. This involves the full sales cycle from prospecting and initial meetings to setting up the sales process and closing deals. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing client satisfaction, contributing directly to our growth and success in this key market.
Your mission is to… establish Extenda Retail as a leading provider of cloud-based POS solutions in the Benelux region, with a future focus on the DACH region. You will achieve this by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key decision-makers within retail organizations, and effectively communicating the value proposition of Hii Retail. Your focus will be on complex software sales, requiring a consultative approach and a deep understanding of the retail landscape.
Reponsibilities of the role:
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities, with a primary focus on Benelux initially.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact and needs assessment to proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within target retail organizations across the Benelux region.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations, showcasing the benefits of Hii Retail.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product development, implementation) to ensure seamless client onboarding and ongoing support.
- Accurately forecast sales activity and revenue, contributing to sales planning and reporting.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitive offerings.
- Represent Extenda Retail professionally at industry events and conferences.
We think you are: a commercially driven individual with a proven track record of success in new business sales within the software industry. You are a self-starter with a hunter mentality, comfortable with complex sales cycles and passionate about technology. You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build rapport and establish trust with clients at all levels. You are highly organized, results-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Your skills and requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in B2B software sales, specifically with complex SaaS products.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and acquiring new clients.
- Experience in the retail industry is a strong advantage.
- Strong understanding of the sales process, from lead generation to closing.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
- Fluent in Dutch (written and spoken).
- Fluent in English (written and spoken). Knowledge of German is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field preferred.
