Before your first day!

Keys for a successful onboarding

Technical onboarding: before joining the company your manager, together with the heroes in the IT team, will help you get the settled in. The technical onboarding consist of making sure you get your computer, pic the phone of your choice, access to the systems we use and more

Prior to your first day your manager and buddy will make sure that you will be provided with all the information you need to get started. They will make sure to invite you to all the important meetings, show the trainings available, share presentations and walkthrough of information

To make sure you become part of the company and feel empowered to innovate you will have an appointed buddy. And during the first week you will have a joint team lunch and get introduced to all social aspects of the onboarding and your future with us.

What we mean by that is that it should be accessible and easy to find information about the company and find the help that you possibly could be in need of. Every employee should be careful and accurate in terms of separating private personal opinions from Extenda Retail’s opinions. Distributed teams and international collaboration

Freedom under responsibility
You will have the freedom to flex morning and evening regulate within the flex time frames. Flex time is not to be confused with overtime ordered by the manager and is considered time in addition to the normal working hours. The flex time is in the morning 07.00 - 09.00 and in the evening 16.00 - 18.00. Overtime staff must register their flex time.

All staff and town hall meetings
Extenda Retail hold All Staff meetings once every quarter where all personnel withing the company are summoned to hear about company wide updates and some ongoing projects. Except from the these All staff meetings, the departments hold separate meetings with more detailed and specific information for the function.

The regular working time for full time is 40.0 hours of holiday-free week. Regular working hours at Extenda Retail are 08.00 - 17.00, with a lunch break of 60 minutes. Part-time employees work according to a set working time schedule for each individual
Lunch breaks are taken sometime between 11.30 and 13.30.
