About the role
We are looking for a driven and experienced Client Delivery Manager to play a crucial role in managing the successful delivery of our software solutions. To succeed in this role you should be passionate about leading complex software implementations for top-tier international clients within retail and warehousing. Our delivery portfolio spans from proof of concept to large multi-year programs, managing packaged software service deliveries or SaaS implementations.
In this role, you will be accountable for planning and coordinating deliveries across one or more development teams, both local and sourced out globally through partners. You'll collaborate closely with our clients' representatives to ensure alignment with their requirements and provide regular progress updates. This requires strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple teams. Your focus will be on coordinating system deliveries with highest quality, speed and client satisfaction. You will also partner with Client Executives and Client Success teams to ensure profitable deliveries.
Earlier Experience
You probably bring 3-5 years of project management experience, ideally within a product-centric, agile environment. Experience with cloud-based software deliveries is highly advantageous. You should be comfortable taking a holistic view of the delivery while also having the ability to delve into technical details when necessary and quickly establish credibility with clients, stakeholders, and our technical teams. You will also need a strong commercial mindset and understanding of the business aspects of software deliveries. Experience as a service manager responsible for continuous delivery of maintenance, support, and enhancements will also help you in this position as maintaining the quality and service levels for existing products is to the clients is an important aspect of this role.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall client delivery.
- Responsible for managing client expectations and relationships.
- Responsible for budget and profit/loss for the engagement.
- Managing and executing services up sales and proactively support new product sales.
- Plan and coordinate deliveries across multiple functions and organizations.
- Manage progress, risks and issues with teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Acts as primary contact for the client and the service delivery aspects of the engagement, focused on building strong customer relationships.
- Monitors and manages financials, schedule, and scope to ensure the delivery stays on track.
- Coordinate deliveries across multiple engineering teams.
- Understands the Extenda Retail Methodology and possesses the ability to assess risks in process, people, or technology and adjusts plans to address accordingly.
- Facilitates and leads status meetings with team, sponsors, and all stakeholders.
- Continuously focus on improving ways of working. Inspect and adapt.
- Facilitate a collaborative, open and transparent environment.
- Proactively communicate with clients and stakeholders.
Skills And Experience
- 3-5 years of project management experience, managing and delivering software product solutions from inception to delivery to client, within retail technology or warehouse management.
- Fluent in Dutch, both verbal and written
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written
- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Clear and compelling communication skills in order to tune your message depending on who the audience is.
- Demonstrate a variety of leadership; technical, commercial and interpersonal skills.
- Experience from software delivery using Agile methodologies.
- Experience in professional services/consulting organization.
- Highly analytical and data driven.
- Certified knowledge and experience of at least one formal project management methodology
- Knowledge of IT software delivery and SaaS solutions
