Can you describe a typical day or week in your role?
A typical week in the New Business sales department would be to have exciting customer meetings and prepare good presentations that are tailored to their business and technical needs. If we have ongoing RFIs or RFPs to answer we will ensure that all resources are on top of that and plan what kind of work that needs to be done within a certain timeframe.
What do you find most rewarding and meaningful about your job?
I do find it very meaningful to help companies with their current pain points and challenges that they are experiencing. It is really inspiring to work for a company that can deliver the newest technology to retailers. Talking to new people and learning about other people's perspectives is inspiring. I also enjoy working with my colleagues, even though we are an international company we talk to each other a lot and meet up at special occasions.
Can you share a success story or achievement from your time in this role that you're particularly proud of?
I have been fully operating in this team for five to six months. The ultimate success story would be to win a new client on Hii Checkout solution, but for now I am satisfied with all small wins where we are having productive and valuable conversations with prospects. We all learn so much from each other and work together as a team.
What would you tell someone if they were considering working here?
Extenda Retail is a great place to work. We have a really good working environment with a lot of different personalities and competences that complements each other. We have really fun collaborating with one another and often do something social at each location.
